Travertine Spa Partners with NFL Star John Thornton for the 4th Annual Bowling for Autism Charity Event
Sunset Beach, CA (PRWEB) June 22, 2007 -- Travertine Spa (http://www.travertinespa.com), a manufacturer of luxury products to rejuvenate body and spirit, announced today that it will be partnering with Cincinnati Bengals Defensive Tackle John Thornton for the 4th Annual Bowling for Autism charity event. Travertine Spa, which boasts a wide array of celebrity clientele, will be donating its best-selling Petal Body Cream and Lavender Linen Spray.
The event, which will be held June 23, 2007 at Princeton Bowl in Cincinnati, Ohio, strives to generate awareness for Autism; all of the proceeds from the event will benefit Autism research. In 2002, Thornton founded "John Thornton and Friends Charity Events" to assist charitable organizations in Nashville, Tennessee.
"The most gratifying aspect of hosting this event is seeing parents and kids happy, kids that we support," said Thornton. After signing with the Bengals, Thornton relocated his Bowling for Autism event to the Cincinnati area. The organization has raised over $125,000 as a result of charity events.
"John's philanthropic effort is inspiring, and we are honored to be a part of this event," said Terry Carter, Travertine Spa founder and CEO. Travertine Spa will be donating its products for the pre-event celebration, scheduled for June 22, 2007. Cincinnati Bengals Cheerleaders will be on hand to present Travertine Spa products to invited guests.
